Press & Accolades
“Seth Mulder and Midnight Run has a dynamic show that keeps their audience attentive and entertained from start to finish. It’s more than “playing music” to this band. It’s about making sure their audience “feels” the music they play. Highly Recommended~ ”
— Milton Harkey: Event Producer, Bluegrass First Class
“At a time when the boundaries of bluegrass are being stretched there is clearly a place for high quality groups to remind aficionados of the beauty of traditional bluegrass, and these guys fit the bill perfectly.”
— AmericanaUK

“These guys are bona fide in traditional bluegrass the right way. These guys are 100 percenters. They get it! They bring a sweet spirit to my bluegrass cruises. I will continue to hire them for my land festivals and cruises. I’ve been telling my promoter friends to invest in them also. If you hire them for your event, you will know what I’m talking about.”
— Danny Stewart: Danny Stewart Productions
“"Seth Mulder & Midnight Run are one of the most entertaining bluegrass acts on the scene today. We're huge fans of these guys, and if you had but a single bluegrass-lovin’ bone in your whole body then you’d understand why. We hadn’t planned on seeing three shows of their exhaustive early 2020 Ireland & UK tour, but we did. We kept going back for more."”

“Seth Mulder and Midnight Run embody the best of traditional bluegrass. This tight five-piece from East Tennessee mixes fine original songs with tried and tested classics, and they know how to dress for the show! With top-notch banjo and fiddle plus Seth’s driving mandolin driving a strong vocal trio, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run are going places. ”

— Charlie Cushman (The Earls of Leicester)
“I wish to say that it was a great pleasure to be associated with Midnight Run. They delivered some of the finest classic bluegrass ever played on these shores, which sounded fresh every night. Add to the above a great work ethic (while still having fun), great personalities, and communication skills, and you get a band that tick all the boxes. ”
— John Nyhan, Irish Bluegrass Music Promoter
“This is a group that really cares about the music and about one another, They are infinitely entertaining when they perform. The vocals and musicianship are top notch, of course, but it’s that visible camaraderie that absolutely makes fans fall in love with Seth Mulder & Midnight Run. ”
— Jerry Salley: Billy Blue Records Creative and A&R Director
“Close your eyes and listen to these guys and they sound as if they have been playing together for the last thirty years. With virtuosic ability to communicate via songs and on instruments they crafted their shows to a fine art while still managing to retain exuberance and spontaneity to delight audiences at Moniaive Michaelmas Bluegrass Festival. Unbelievably brilliant now I shudder to think what they will be like in thirty years! ”
— C. Paul Lyttle, Artistic Director, Moniaive Michaelmas Bluegrass Festival, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland.
